Ya ha dado comienzo NEW YORK FASHION WEEK, una de las pasarelas más prestigiosas internacionalmente. Desde *My Cup Of Tea* os contaré las anécdotas más destacadas de cada jornada, pero antes quiero repasar cronológicamente las FASHION WEEKS que NO te puedes perder.

It has already started NEW YORK FASHION WEEK, one of the most prestigious fashion shows wordlwide. Just remind you that next edition of MADRID FASHION WEEK will be held in October. From *My Cup Of Tea* I will tell you the most highlight events every single day, before that I just want to go over the main FASHION SHOWS chronological . Do not miss them ;)

New York Fashion Week

La moda “made in USA”  vive ya su gran momento desde ayer Miércoles 9, hasta el 16 de Febrero. Serán más de 80 diseñadores de prestigio internacional los que se suban a esta pasarela. Entre ellos, encontraremos clásicos como Donna Karan, Carolina Herrera, Diane Von Furstenberg, Ralph Lauren o Calvin Klein; colecciones de celebrities como Whitney Eve (de Whitney Port) o L.A.M.B. (de Gwen Stefani) o Ports. Además, en esta pasarela presentan sus colecciones algunos diseñadores que dominan las alfombras como Reem Acra, Monique Lhuillier, Jenny Packham o Badgley Mischk. Y como viene siendo habitual, “nuestro” Custo Dalmau también presentará allí la nueva colección de Custo Barcelona.

Fashion "made in Usa" lives already one of its biggest moment since yesterday Wednesady 9^th to 16^th of Februrary. There will be more than 80 prestigious designers in this fashion show. Some of them are the ones we are already get used to see every year, as Donna Karan, Carolina Herrera, Diane Von Furstenberg, Ralph Lauren o Calvin Klein. Furthermore, in this fashion week many desginers, that design the outfits which we see at the red carpets, launch their new collections. I am referring to Reem Acra, Monique Lhuillier, Jenny Packham o Badgley Mischk. As usual, Custo Dalmau from SPAIN will launch his new collection of Custo Barcelona.

Valencia Fashion Week

La que ya se considera una pasarela de renombre en nuestro país, y sin duda una de las que trabaja más duro para mejorar en cada edición, arrancará el próximo 15 de febrero y concluirá el día 18. Se estrenará un gran número de diseñadores que desfilan por primera vez en esta pasarela y repetirán con los desfiles más esperados cada temporada, Álex Vidal e Higinio Mateu. Ion Fiz presentará su línea secundaria, “Serie by Ion Fiz”. Assad Awad, diseñador de Lady Gaga, que vive en Madrid, lanza su primera colección en esta pasarela.

It has become one of the established fashion weeks in Spain. Valencia Fashion Week works really hard every year  to get better every single edition. It will start on the 15^th of Feb and it will finish on the 18^th. It wouldn’t be just new designers but also prestigious designers as  Álex Vidal, Higinio Mateu or Ion Fiz. Assad Awad, who lives in Madrid and desgins for Lady Gaga, will launch his first collection in this fashion week.

London Fashion Week

No tengo duda que esta es la pasarela más innovadora. Comenzará el 17 de febrero y se prolonga hasta el día 22. Moschino Cheap&Chic desfilará por primera vez en ella. Disfrutaremos de firmas que marcan tendencia, como House of Holland, Christopher Kane o Matthew Williamson, junto a clásicos como Burberry Prorsum o Stella McCartney. Otros desfiles que no debemos perdernos son los de Roksanda Ilincic, diseñadora emergente cuyos diseños son cada vez más lucidos en los photocalls, y Twenty8Twelve, la firma de las hermanas Miller.

This is the most innovative fashion show, I have no doubt . It will be held from the 17^th of Feb to the 22snd. Moschino Cheap&Chic will be in this fashion week for the very first time. We will have a chance to enjoy the new collections of firms as, House of Holland, Christopher Kane o Matthew Williamson next to the classic ones as Burberry Prorsum and Stella McCartney. Don’t forget to pay attention to the trendy firms as Roksanda Ilincic and Twenty8Twelve.

Milano Moda Donna

Solapándose por un día con la semana de la moda de Londres, la de Milán tendrá lugar del 22 al 28 de febrero. Poco podemos decir de una pasarela tan copada de grandes diseñadores, en la cuál veremos las propuestas de Gucci, Alberta Ferretti, Fendi, Salvatore Ferragamo, Versace o Dolce&Gabbana entre muchas otras. No debemos perder ojo a la colección de Jil Sander, pues en las últimas temporadas ha sido todo un percusor de tendencias como el color block o, en esta primavera, los tonos pastel.

It would be held from the 22snd to the 28th of February. We will get the chance to see the latest trends about Gucci, Alberta Ferretti, Fendi, Salvatore Ferragamo, Versace or Dolce&Gabbana. Keep an eye on the new collection of Jil Sander.

Paris Fashion Week

Aunque puede que muchos me discutan esto, para mí la semana de la moda de París es “la reina madre” de todas. Por eso, probablemente, es siempre la última. También es la más larga, desde el 28 de febrero hasta el 7 de marzo, y la que más nombres conocidos incluye en su programa, desde Balmain o Isabel Marant hasta Chanel o Dior, pasando por Louis Vuitton, Elie Saab o Loewe. Desde España, pondremos también mucha atención en el desfile de Amaya Arzuaga, ya consolidada entre las firmas que habitualmente desfilan en París.

This is the QUEEN of FASHION WEEKS by my point of view. It might be always the last one for proper reason. Also, it’s always been the longest one. It will be held from the 28^th of Feb to the 7^th of March. Many prestigious designers chose this fashion week to launch their new collections. Designers such as Balmain, Isabel Marant, Chanel,  Dior, Louis Vuitton, Elie Saab o Loewe. From Spain we will pay attention to the Amaya Arzuaga’s fashion show, a Spanish firm.
