DERROTA VALIENTE
Confieso que me gusta el fútbol pero jamás he sido una fan forofa. Pero después de lo que viví ayer con el equipo de mi tierra “Sociedad Deportiva Ponferradina” me declaró FAN NÚMERO UNO, pero no de del club….sino de su afición. El Real Madrid disputaba ayer con la Ponferradina un partido en la cuarta ronda de la Copa del Rey 2011/12. Estoy segurisíma que si Su Majestad llega a ver como una “hormiguita” se defiende ante tal “gigante” , mientras su gente lo aclama como si hubiera conseguido una victoria, se hubiera orgullecido sin lugar a duda de ésta, su patria española. Pero no me voy a centrar en las jugadas, tampoco en Cristiano Ronaldo que cobra 7 veces más que todo el club de la Ponferradina, ni tampoco en el resultado del marcador, ni siquiera en el resto de los jugadores...mi ovación y admiración se la merece las 8.000 personas que alzando su bufanda cantaron “A Ponferrada me Voy” una canción muy sentimental para cualquier berciano. Sí, como berciana de corazón, a mi también me ponen los pelos de punta. Esa letra y notas musicales estremecen cada ángulo y sentimento de mi cuerpo cada vez que las escucho porque mi querida abuelita, que en paz descanse, me la cantaba constantamente cuando era pequeñita. Y con los ojos vidriosos por ver a esas miles de personas unidas y cantando de corazón el Himno a la Virgen de la Encina, la patrona del Bierzo, sólo quiero decir…. Señoras y Señores, AUPA DEPORTIVA! VIVA EL BIERZO!
I must confess that I like soccer but Im not a big fan of it. But after my last night experience with the soccer team “Sociedad Deportiva Ponferradina” from my hometown I declare my self….FAN NUMBER ONE, but not of the team but its supporters. The Real Madrid team played last night against the Ponferradina in the fourth round of the “Copa del Rey 2001/12”. Im pretty sure that if His Majesty gets to see how an ant protect itself from an elephant he would be very proud of his country. Im not gonna talk about the moves, either Cristiano Ronaldo which earns 7 times more than all Club Ponferradina, not even about the final score or the other players…my respect and ovation goes to the 8.000 people that rase their sacarfs up and sang “A Ponferrada me voy “ a very sentimental song for anyone from my hometown. The lyrics and the music make every angle of my body shudder every time that I hear it. The reason is that my grandmummy, who passed away, used to sing to me everyday when I was a child. And with this video of 8 thounsend people singing at same time the hymn “A la Virgen de la Encina” the patron saint from my hometown , I just want to say… Ladys and Gentleman, AUPA DEPORTIVA ! VIVA EL BIERZO.
